Welcome to Cyberspace
Looks like someone else has fallen into the code.
This is our first proper attempt at a collective website!
We thought it would be fun to try to make a type of, nested-website, I guess you could call it! Somewhere where each of us could have our own differently styled, fully customized pages to share a little about ourselves. We will be trying to find a good balance between oversharing and regular-sharing. On one hand, we love the idea of being able to customize some silly little sites as a hobby. One the other hand, we've learned a lot from a lifetime full of wounded heels. We don't think anyone should have to learn a life lesson through pain, and if we can do anything to help either prevent or ease some suffering, we'll do it. We're not a professional by any stretch of the imagination, but we hope some of our life experiences can be informative or helpful!
We're also an artist, so the idea of turning our life--and thus, our hardships--into a customized, aesthetically pleasing website (fingers crossed!), brings us a bit of soothing in its own right. All of our art is a collaborative effort, but of course, some subjects and pieces are more spearheaded by one alter than others. We will share info about who prioritized which pieces when applicable!
This goes without saying, but we're not ashamed of our DID. We don't think we should be doomed to live a life of secrecy, which is part of the reason we wanted to make our own website. We're functional in everyday life, but we mask--This is our place to unmask. We're of the opinion that we would not have survived our abusive upbringing if we didn't develop DID; All of us, alters in our system, have each other to thank for our strength, and our survival. If you do not think we're acting in good faith, you are encouraged to exit off the site.
